The CCIO Leaders Network, the independent network of NHS clinical information leaders, and Digital Health Intelligence, the leading news and intelligence service on UK health IT, are asking front-line clinical staff across the NHS to rate the usability of main clinical software they use to care for their patients. We are asking clinicians to share their views on what is good and what is bad about the key electronic patient record and clinical software software they use. This is the first time a survey of this kind has been carried out nationally across all areas of the health service. Usability and user experience are at the heart of whether or not electronic patient record system are well used, and ultimately provide benefits to clinicians and their patients.
