IT Security took over the No. 1 spot with Big data and BI slipping from first to second.
Combine the two and you can see that any Big Data BI and Analytics platform must have scalable, multi-tenant security as a fundamental part of the platform.
No more Business-centric Data Divas creating silos of data discovery and visualisation. rather than that BI platforms that address the full range of personas that need BI to enable better and data driven-decisions.
Better still, platforms that combine that with write-back so that feedback loops, audit trains, pro-active alerts can help execute decisions as well as make them.
Big data and business intelligence will continue to be at the top of mind for IT leaders as we head into 2016, according to new research from TEKsystems. In its just-released annual IT forecast, TEKsystems found that business intelligence and big data holds the number two spot for technology topics that will have the biggest impact on the enterprise in 2016, a repeat of the 2015 findings. Business intelligence and big data had held the number one spot in 2013 and 2014, but IT security has risen to take over the top spot in the past two annual studies.
